Free Papers and Embellishments

At long last, here are a few more installments to my latest series. First, some patterned papers you are sure to love. These papers will mix and match beautifully. They all have some form of pattern or texture to them. And they will match all of my freebies for the next short while as I am IN LOVE with these colors.

Download the Patterns of Elegance Papers here

I also found that I am in love with wood today. I sat down and made you some pretty wooden embellishments, frames, and labels for your layouts. I especially love how the two frames turned out. I hope you do too!

Download the Wooden Embellishments here.

Tomorrow, ribbons, bows, and some more miscellaneous stuff. For today, enjoy these parts of the series!

Updates on Life:
My mom is getting better. So far she seems a little better every day. She has quit smoking since she had her stroke, and has even cut pepsi out of her diet. My sister spends the day with her here at our house while our household goes to work. Luckily she has the week off of work. Mom has a therapist coming over tomorrow to help her keep working on her physical therapy to regain the full use of her legs and her right arm.

I am starting to really consider selling some of my digital scrapbook designs. It would be neat to be able to say, "I did that" I suppose. I am a freebie designing mama and always will be, but it would help to cover the costs of my storage and stuff. Also, I really want to someday afford to buy Photoshop CS2 or CS3... I hear it is the Cat's Pajamas.

So you read this far? How about if you click on the link and leave me a comment? Tell me anything, about your day, about your car, about your job, or just that you downloaded this stuff :)

I didn't download....but just wanted to say HI!!
I personally don't like those colors, but WOW are they POPULAR these days! LOL!!
I'd love to see some brown and navy blue and baby blue kits...but I've hit a wall with my search...too bad I cannot design them myself! LOL!!
Anyhoo, I don't usually comment, but I do love your work!
HUGS to you!

1st off - I'm glad to hear that your mom is starting to feel better. The recovery is a long process and sometimes very trying. Keep giving her lots of support!

2nd - I LOVE YOUR WORK! You are very talented and also generouse in sharing your hard work.

3rd - I am a 9 yr veteran to the truck driving industry in the United States. I started driving when I was only 22. Now I spend my days at home and work at night. I enjoy reading your blog and scrapping with your designs when I have spare time. I don't have any kids of my own, so I use ALOT of photos of my 4 boxer dogs who are like children to me. :)

Thank you again for sharing all your hard work with us.

Have a great week.

Love the new papers and adore the wooden elements.

My hubby and I are preparing for a two week camping trip. Well, more like we are procrastinating about preparing for the camping trip. We leave in a week and for some reason the motivation to pack is just not there. This is an annual trip and we usually are more prepared by this point. This year, nothing seems to hapen on time. Thanks for the papers and the wood elements - always love anything made in the wood theme.
Happy to hear your Mother is doing better - it takes time and determination to come back from a stroke. The hardest part is not to get depressed when recovery is not going as fast as you would like. Keep the faith.

So glad your Mom is better - it is a long road but she sounds like she is eager to get back to herself - that is a big help! Could be worse - when you have to care for an uncooperative or thankless person, wether family or not - it is very stressful! Trying to help ya out here - and want you to know I adore all of your designs - and reallly like the essentials and diamond papers - and all the bows and ribbon - yesssss!!! Thank you so much! And hang in there!Saying a prayer - Cher

I read that far :) I havent been on much lately no real time left in the day with summer. To much going on. I love this kit. I could not get the papers to d.l and didnt have time to keep trying. I will try again another day. I think your stuff is good enough to sell and i can understand wanting to say "i did that" I cant afford to buy anything right now at all since Im the only one working but I know there are plenty who can and I have heard that program is really great. Ive seen a lot of bloggers do grab bags and dollar deals that seem to go well maybe you could try that and see how that goes it seems to do well on things that are really popular.
thanks for always being so generous with what you share

So glad to hear that your Mother is doing much better after having the stroke and your sister is off for the week. Everything works for good in a pinch. "SMILE."

I downloaded those wooden elements that are too wonderful for words. Usually, I do not dl wooden elements, but you have definitely made a change in my dos and don'ts. LOL. Love the elegance of the finish along with the realism it will add to my grand and great-grandson's layouts. A cute touch to add that extra punch. So nice to visit you, it has been a while. So thanks again for your fantastic element package. Leavin LUV! XOXOXO
