So is everyone ready for Christmas? I am painfully regretting the fact that I did not get all of my Christmas shopping done in October. Thus, I am forced to go out to the stores all weekend to get done.
I stopped by Wal-Mart today. They have all these commercials on TV about how they have extra checkout lines open so it should be a good place to shop for the holidays. Let me just forewarn you… all of your neighbors saw the same commercial, so they are shopping there too! The toy aisles look pillaged, the clothing racks are in shambles, and no one who is out shopping today has the spirit of Christmas running through their veins. Watch out Santa, Mama’s got her credit cards out and she is going to go into hock further than the Jones family this year. And the poor screaming children who are being forced to go from store to store hunting for that perfect gift for the person who has everything, oh I pity them!
So anyhow, I am off to do some more shopping. If I don’t come back in 4 hours, call for help. I have one gift left to buy and then it’s wrapping day… anyone know where I can get the best loans to pay for this? BAH HUMBUG!

I do feel sorry for you! I am not out Christmas shopping, but I braved the grocery store--did you know there is a Ritz Cracker shortage in Denton today? But there was no shortage of people in the grocery store and they too seemed to have no Christmas goodness in their hearts. I guess it is the same all over. Well, back to the wrapping. From one Grinch to another--MERRY CHRISTMAS!
haha! I needed groceries today but instead we are going to go at the wee hours of the morning tomorrow, like 6 AM.
