Black Friday: My Rant and My Sale

I hate holidays at the mall, Wal-mart, and any other retail store. I shop for everything I can online, no joke. Wal-mart ships pretty fast this time of year and the neat thing is that if I order all my gifts for one person at a time, they come all boxed up and ready for wrapping lol. Heck, some stores even wrap them for me and that is a major time saver.

You might think I am a grinch, but really, the holidays are the most stressful time of the year, I want to spend the time doing what I enjoy, not standing in line listening to horrible elevator music versions of holiday music, listening to the person in front of me gripe to their kids to stop pulling on each others' hair.

I also like to make handmade gifts for those who are close to me. I make mini-albums, pocket chipboard books, handmade cards, etc. I even make homemade wrapping paper with that brown mailing paper or butcher paper from the local XPedx paper store. My giftwrap is stamped, glitter glued, stickered, etc. and seriously I love how it looks under the tree.

So tomorrow, you will find me at home, with a cup of sugar-free hot chocolate, watching some TV and playing with Maia. I might go to the office for a few hours and do some "Black Friday Bill Collecting..." BAH HUMBUG stuff. But you sure as heck won't find me fighting over the last tickle me toy, or waiting in line for the doors to open. Nope, I like to go to the local stores in the middle of the night around Christmas time if I even go to them this year.
