Someone asked me today why I do what I do with this blog. The conversation went something like this...
THEM: Elizabeth, why do you spend so much time on your computer?
ME: Because I love to design for digital scrapbooking. It's an addiction.
THEM: So you make money on this?
ME: Sometimes, but that's not why I do it.
THEM: Then why do you do it?
ME: Because I like to.
THEM: Why do you like to? I mean, you could probably design for your own scrapbooks, but why do you design things and just give them away for other people? Can't they do it themselves?
ME: I do it because I like to. I like to because I like the people and I like to see that I make their day better.
THEM: You're nuts.
So anyway, it really made me think. Why do I do it? And I decided to think about it while I designed a paper pack for you haha!

Thanks for the papers! While I really like elements for scrapbooking (and there are some great one, too!), I must admit my favorite part is the papers. While the papers are only a background of the page, it often sets the mood of the page as you are matching everything else to it. So, THANKS for the papers! I really love these!! (And I'll try to be good and post comments here instead of 4Shared!)

Ya know, we like you, too! I still can't get over the amazing generousity of all you designers. So creative, & so giving to take the time to create such beautiful kits, alphas, elements, papers & then to give them away. It's humbling. I know a lot of times the freebie is a sample of a full kit that can be purchased, but it's the generousity of ya'll that gives me the opportunity to share my LOs with family in the East & South while I'm 1000+ miles away. They get to see what my kids are doing in the story that a scrapbook tells without having to wait for the once a year visit. For this, I can't thank you enough. My only wish is that I could learn to create so that I can give back to this wonderful, giving & caring community.
