Girly Girls

I am not a girly girl. I don't wear make up. I don't even blow dry my hair, let alone curl it. I like jeans and t-shirts, khaki, and sorta plain looking clothes. I am handy with a screwdriver, even more handy with a power drill. I like to play in the dirt. I like to hang with the guys without batting my eyelashes at them. OK, I admit it, I prefer beer to wine coolers.

But I like PINK.

That's right, PINK. The color of all girliness. To me, the fact that I like pink says that even though I am not a girly girl, I AM openminded. I think it takes a strong woman to be comfortable with pink.

These thoughts inspired my latest creation... a kit called Not a Girly Girl.

Here is a preview for you!

The first thing one notices when they look at this kit might be that bright pink... but if you look a little closer, you will notice some pretty guy-ish elements... like real hardware screws, and the drab olive greens really balance it out, I think. Yes, I like pink. But there is certainly more to me than the pink I like :)

Know someone who is like this? You will be able to scrap about them with this kit as soon as I get it in the store within the next hour or so.

Great kit! Almost makes me wish my girly girl was a bit more boyish! ;) But I love having a girly girl... Still I think I have good use for this kit. Because although my boy is a real boyish-boy, he loves every pink toy his sister has! :)

Man, it's sad that I have to be that blunt.
