It's not a diet... It's a REDUCTION PLAN

Howdy! I have been focusing on my low carb dieting, cooking lots of food, planning lots of meals, day-dreaming about being skinny, and finding great recipes for my low carb diet. I was talking to my mom's husband the other day and he said, "It's easier if you don't think of it as a diet... the girls at my work call it a Reduction Plan," hehehe that was funny at the time.

My progress so far: I started Monday. I have lost 7 pounds already. Even on prednisone! That is HUGE to me. I am so excited that I have decided to make a scrapbook of some of my dieting successes, my favorite meals, etc.

And for those of you who are also on a "Reduction Plan", I have made a few elements to celebrate in our scrapping.

Download this little set of embellies here. Why not scrap your progress? Make it memorable.

Took a look at the stuffed pepper recipe...sounds good...;o) I have been lucky enough to have been able to maintain a pretty decent weight except when I passed through that age where my hormones
started to rearrange themselves...LOL I ate less and less and gained more and more...couldn't figure it out. O course,it was related to the changes but I also found out that as a female passes 35 sugar can retain water...;o(
I found an older version of the low carb diet and followed it so well that I lost so much weight I had to stop because my skirts were falling off my hips...wish they were right now...;o)
I only have about 10 crucial #s to lose but 15 or so would be fantastic! Anyway...all this to say you have inspired me by talking about it...think I'll get out my old "35+" book...;o)
I take prednisone too...but only a 5mg dose per day.
GOOD LUCK!!!

Thanks for the fun elements. I'll use the weights for my hubby's workouts. I still have 12 more weeks before I can start my own "reduction plan". That's when baby is due!

WOW!! Greart progress! Keep it up. It is the little bits that add up to the whole!

I LOVE your embellishments. I am a Pilates and Spinning instructor and I can NEVER find exercise related clip art that doesn't look cartoonish.

Will you PLEASE do a whole set of stuff continuing this theme??? Pretty please?!

I have always been blessed with being thin and I read something on MSN that really hit home to me and maybe it will help. It said that one of the things that thin people do naturally is we eat until we are satisfied not stuffed, we take "samples", we get plenty of sleep, eat fruit, we can put off eating when we get hungry - not have to eat instantly and we don't eat to feel better. I know - easier said than done - but it all fit the way I have I always been.

Plus, it probably helps that my mom and dad are thin and I am hyper! Hope it helps - I have two close friends that struggle with their weight. Good luck to you!
