End of the Day...

“Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child,
and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.”

Ashley Smith

It's the end of my day and I thought I would sit down and just write a few of my thoughts. Today was the grand opening at Stone Accent Studios's store, where my products have finally found a home. This has been an incredible month for me, and finally, the big climactic day has arrived... the day I can finally say, "I do something I love and am my own boss at it."

No, I am not a SAHM. No, I won't be able to be a SAHM unless my store sells a million dollars worth of scrapkits, because I need good health insurance :) But I feel stronger now, more accomplished, and like I can be proud of my "hobby" when my husband doesn't quite understand, or when I get those days where I feel not so good about things.

I have been working out with my mom for a few weeks now, almost every night at the local recreation center's gym. I just got home from the gym, where we rode bikes for 20 minutes then did the cross training elliptical machines for another 10 minutes. Then we walked around the grocery store all stinky and gross and bought every form of junk food in sight. Well, mom did. I got a gallon of milk and some cookies for my hubby. But I noticed, today even though I started out feeling sick, by the end of the day, I felt much better. I think all of the positive energy and excitement of the day really lifted my spirits. Funny how that happens.

Anyhow, it is a beautiful beginning. I hope you, my readers, have enjoyed watching my designing so far and will still enjoy it. I will still be providing you some great stuff here. I know who makes my days better, and you can't put a price on that. Thank you for helping me and supporting me in working in the direction of my dreams.
