Paper Essentials: Plaster Textured

What makes something "Essential" one might ask... Dictionary.com says:

es·sen·tial [uh-sen-shuhl]
adjective
1. absolutely necessary; indispensable.

This paper pack is an essential item to me because I am always looking for some textured non-patterned papers to go with a kit or elements that I am using. They make great backgrounds and do not distract from the photos or journalling in a layout. There are 18 papers in this pack in a variety of colors.

EXPIRED, Watch for them at my store.

and please, leave a comment for me.

Tell me what is Essential to you. What do you look for in a scrapbook paper? Do you have specific colors you like best? What about patterns or textures?

Essential Site to Visit
Have you visited Silvia's Freebie blog lately? She has put a lot of work into bringing fresh freebies daily, and even puts previews of everything up so you know what the freebie looks like before you surf to it. It's a real timesaver for me. And she almost always has my freebie in her list, which is a plus :) I appreciate her hard work and so will you!

Terrific basic papers... thank you!

Thanks for these great papers. I like deep, rich colors in papers with texture but basic papers like these allow me to add overlays and create the color and texture that I want. I think that templates are good for early scrappers. Mini kits are good. Anything that helps a beginner get a basic page in front of them so they can play with the arrangement and begin to understand how the pieces relate. Bits and pieces of element types let them experiment. I think that you are looking at filling a basic supply closet so flowers (not 16 colors of one flower but buds and flowers and stems and sprays), ribbons, frames, and alphas would go with your papers. Basic overlays are always good too.

Essentials, hmmm...

I love richly colored and textured papers, and seem to be drawn to blues and greens. I also love beautiful elements like flowers, butterflies and birds, especially if they are hand-drawn.

essentials? Paper of course. I also like the solids. Being an avid paper scrapper for years, I still like having an asst. of many colors to choose from.
I always like your work!

Love these papers. Many many thanks. I love monotone textured rich colours but also like some monotone patterned/stripy/etc to add interest and inked overlays etc for the edges.

Thank you so much!

Essentials for me are flowers, clips, rope, all kinds of basic elements like that.

Wow, another awesome set of papers. I truly love the stuff you give us, and am so appreciative of the time you take to make them. The one thing I would love to see more of are bigger, fuller bows. The kind made from fabric, not just ribbon, if that makes any sense. Thanks again for sharing your stuff, it's so much fun to pop in every day and see what new stuff is up!
