It's All About the Elements: Heart with a Banner

So I have shared a lot of freebies with you over time. Each time I make a kit, a element set, or a little grouping of files to share... but now and then I just want a single item for a page I am working on. I haven't shared a lot of those single files, mostly because I think "Who would want some single little lonesome thing like this?" and I set them aside thinking I will find a way to incorporate them into some kit later on... but they sit and sit and get dusty and have little lonesome faces. They cry to me at night saying, "We want homes!!!"

So I am going to do a little something different.

This is the first "It's all about the Elements" post. Each post in this series will have a lonesome little element that is looking for a home and a little background on why I made it, what inspired it, and so on.

I would love love love to see how you use them, what you put them with, or just hear your ideas for how they can be used. Please help these lonesome elements find new homes in your scrapbooks and galleries.

This element was inspired by a tattoo, we've all seen the tattoo at one point or another... a declaration of love for one person permanently inked in a cartoon heart. It was originally a lot more cartoony, but I dabbled around with it and now I like the textured fading on the heart and the nice muddled up edges on everything.
Other news... I am shopping for a new digital camera with a printing dock. I got my taxes back and after a long time of not being able to take many pictures of Maia, I am being a little selfish and spoiling myself a little. I will let you know what I end up with. Any suggestions in the 100-200 dollar range?

Im sure there are better cameras out there now but I just LOVE my Kodak Easyshare Z740 digital camera. It takes the best pics. You may consider checking it out on Amazon or Tiger Direct. Some of the best deals are on those 2 websites. Its not the best at zooming all the way out unless you have a tripod but its the best one I have ever had so far. Happy shopping!! :)

What a wonderful idea! Your elements will find so many good homes. I do like the detail you designed into this heart element. Thanks for sharing!
