Here is the next set of textured papers in the Berry Lime set. These are a very luscious and rich texture, and wait until you see what I made it from (below).
EXPIRED
The original texture comes from a photo I took looking straight down at the carpet at my office. I tell you, digital scrapbooking kicks bum because you can truly make anything useful. The Original Photo of the Texture I Used (Above)
I have told Barb (Mrs. Miles) how I enjoy reading her blog and seeing her photos from her walks. I decided to take my camera out with me today and shoot some photos of the town I live in. I live in a small town called Magna, Utah. It was originally a small mining town and a lot of the houses and buildings were built in the very early 1900's to entice miners to come live here and work for the Kennecott copper mines. We live in one of those houses...
I put Maia in the stroller and John (my husband) tagged along. Our walk took us down the street we live on and simply around the block. Here are some photos from our little outing.

The big "C" on the mountain is for the high school I graduated from, Cyprus High. You can see this from my porch if you look above the trees.

This little antique store is at the end of my street. It was painted by the "Touched by an Angel" set folks, they filmed a lot of their episodes in our little town. I used to watch this show just to see what parts of Magna were in each episode.

After our walk, Maia came home and took a shower and got in her pajamas. Here is her wind-down playing with Daddy and her "Bubble Gun".

Sounds like you had a great day! I just love those little towns, maybe because I've always lived in the city! It's neat that you had a show filmed right in your town. Keep showing us where you come from~ it's interesting!
Thanks for the great papers. Left a quick comment on 4Shared.

Love the papers, thank you for sharing. I never knew you lived in Magna and not that far away from where my brother's house is. I'm actually in Holladay so it's nice to see photos of the West side of the valley.
