Spring Plaid for Easter

Happy Easter! I hope that this Easter brings you a time of renewed spirit and joy and also good weather for your easter egg hunts.

I stayed up late last night working on Maia's easter basket. I always try to do some paper crafting when I am giving her holiday gifts, so this year we made a cute name tage with ribbons and such for her basket as well as some "straw" flowers... (putting flowerheads on the ends of drinking straws with only found items was fun for me and my mom.)

I love the spring, it is all so beautiful, watching as the earth comes back to life from a long slumber. The flower bulbs are blooming and the little buds of green are poking out on my lilac and rose bushes. I can't wait for Easter time every year because it signals the onset of warmth and growth in my little patch of the world.
