Happy MONDAY!!! Freebie below...

Happy monday to you! I have been real busy. I am starting a low carb diet today so I have been spending the past few days in mental and physical preparation. Sorry I haven't been around so much but it's that time of year that the world calls to me.

I didn't make it to the scrapbook expo like I planned, instead I went to Joann's. A friend of mine from work has a baby boy and we needed to get her started with her first scrapbook, so I took her there and we got her a kit to start with that comes with an album and all the necessities. We also got some cute papers and embellishments. I love that scrapbooking is something I can share with my coworkers and people I meet. It was a great time.

I have been working on some stick pin labels... you should find them really useful if you just want to put a word or two on them about whatever you are sticking them to.
I used Atomic Cupcake's Smooth Pewter action. I like the look of the metals and the bright colors together.Download them here

I love this freebie! They are adorable. What action did you use to make it look as through the stick of the pin is under the paper?

These are beautiful. Thanks very much. Just wanted to say congrats on starting the low carb diet. I have been on one since last September and have lost 30 kilos. The first two days are very hard so be prepared for it. You get dizzy, feel hungry all day and think you will never last it out. It gets great after that. I took 3 per day and still take (1 per day) sugar balance tablets which help a lot. You might like to check them out if not already on them. Looking forward to hearing how you are going in your blog. Very versatile and useful! I can't wait to stick some images on mine. The green one you did with your logo is so simple, but looks incredible! Any suggestions on how to get it to look so realistic going through the paper like that? LOVE THESE!

I'm at orachel54@yahoo.com

I've been grabbing your freebies for a month or so now, and don't have a blog yet, so I haven't given you any presents. I have a terrific list of free design resources (like vintage clip art sites/brushes/actions/shapes/ etc...much is ok for commercial use). People who I've given it to are loving it...theres probably 50 links or more now...just a bounty of downloadie goodness! LOL

Email me if you'd like me to send it to you. Fantastic rainy day project, and I promise you'll get some schtuff to make you smile!

Congrats on low carb thing! 2 tips for you a) can you say waaay low carb reese's cups? Yum
b) replace soda with those new flavored waters. Fruit2o has one called natural apple thats just like apple juice...no weird diet taste. Fills you up and great for you to increase water when you're doing low carb. Happy skin-ni-fy-ing!
