I love elements that look like they are a mixed media... not just paper or whatnot. I use a lot of non-traditional items in my paper scrapbooking. I love embroidered details, for example. I have made some beautiful embroidered pieces. Some using my own art, others using Lileya's brushes again (
http://lileya.deviantart.com). I used the Atomic Cupcake Embroidered action, so these all have a great texture to them.
