Some of my favorite scrap elements are stitched. I used to cross-stitch when I was a kid, and I always enjoy stitching because it really reminds me of that. Also, it's just another way to remember you can truly scrap with ANYTHING. In the paper scrapbooking world, I would like to learn how to embroider on my pages without being disappointed... but in the digital scrapping world, I don't have to worry about that, because it's all easier to manipulate. I love digital scrapbooking :)
If I were to be emroidering my pages in real life, nothing would come out perfect because frankly, I am sloppy with my stitches. That's why I was so thrilled with the way these turned out. I found a tutorial and some brushes at http://www.escrappers.com/photoshopatoz.html that helped me along the way, and here is what I was able to create. (Oh yeah, if you haven't checked that site, it has some great photoshop tutorials and techniques for scrapbooking).
