I read an article somewhere. It said good bloggers post regularly. It also said that if you post too often people won't visit your blog. I thought to myself, well, I sure hope my visitors don't mind but I can't pace myself. If I have something to share, I just can't sit and wait til the next day to post it. I know it makes for a lot of return visiting for you, but I do so try to make it worth your while. And heck, if you want to wait til tomorrow to come read my blog, you can sure do that. I will have even more stuff for you since it is my day off work and that is when I do most of my designing.
I got bored once my darling daughter went to bed. I decided to make some embellishments for my new project. I made a few gold paisleys, which I am saving for the kit... but then I got to thinking, you can never have too much gold... and here you have it, a whole set of gold embellishments. Forgive me for being a frequent poster. I will try to get better at that, I suppose. But dang, I am no good at holding out to post something.
Some of you might recognize some of those shapes I used. They are from my free shape templates from a previous post (and yes, they are still available) and border templates. There are some new ones in this kit that are going into a new shape template pack I will be working on as I design.
I have given some serious thought to expanding on this freebie stuff and making a whole website for scrapbookers with the freebies and some tutorials and stuff, but that is way down the road. If I were to build one, what would you want to see? I know there are a lot of really good sites out there so I am still debating, I don't like to re-invent the wheel, rather come up with ways to make the wheels all work together better and maybe with a cool paint job...
