Alpha bits for you!

I truly LOVE a good alpha set... you know the kind, the kind that has good details and takes a lot of the work out of scrapbooking so I can focus on my layout without wondering how I can make the text have a pop of its own. This is one of those, if you ask me. It's got texture and stitching and it is one of the colors from the Desert Bloom kit so it can easily intermingle with those layouts. So far it is just the capital letters, but when time permits I will put out some lower-case and different punctuation marks. Alphas take a long time for me to put together, any hints on how to speed up or automate the process some?

Oooooh I'm a sucker for stitching, I don't care if it's alone, on alpha's, tags, anything!
It especially looks good on this alpha of yours.
I use PSP so to get that stitched look you really have to work at it...LOL at least I do!!
Thanks so much. ;)

Thanks so much for your comments at my blog - does this mean I have to find a 'giggler' to inspire more elements? haha- I LOVE the sound of children's laughter - its the greatest tonic. Thanks for sharing! Have a wonderful day.

hmmmm... well mostly we DON'T have a final destination - other than home - we make a big loop, but we change our route often so we don't get bored. Sometimes, for a reward we make hitting the corner store and getting a (healthy) snack part of it... Also, listening to music or a taped novel or the radio makes it fun too. Its just way more entertaining than doing the treadmill at the gym! Make sure you always wear something reflective tho, if going at night. Bonus at night - hardly any traffic. Thanks so much for asking!
