My husband got a phone call tonight from his daughter from a previous marriage. He found out he has a 9 month old grandson. I am 29, I am not old enough to be this girl's mother, let alone a grandmother!!!
I am in shock tonight and thought I would share it with you all :) I was going to post some valentines stuff, but it will wait for another day.

I know how you feel but thru my expericence with this!
My husband died from a freak fall at the Firhouse where he was performong his duties as Chief Engineer without knowing that he was a grandfather to three grandaughter's from his son from his 1st marriage.
He would have been very proud to have known this and it hurts me deeply till this day that he didn't know.

I know what ya mean my ex-boyfriend had a 19 yr old step-daughter, who had 3 boys and I was 28!!! Talk about being too young to be g-ma!! I was a g-ma 3 times!!! ROTFLMAO! Look at it this way, you can spoil them and send them home when you're done! LOL. That's the best part of being a grandparent! ;)

I totally understand! I became a grandmother at 28 and my grandchild was older than my own children. It'll grow on you...being the young, "cool" grandma....so Congrats!
I became instant grandma the first time to three little girls.My youngest son married a woman who had three little ones.He met her online and asked her to come down here.She brought them all ...I fell in love with the girls at first site...I am a lot older..but no time to get use to the idea of being a grandma.Now I have three little girls who fill my life with joy.:)Try it..you may LOVE it:)
everyone will tell you to put the best face on this and sometimes that's just HARD. Take a lot of deep breaths. Smile, even if you dont feel like it, the rest will follow.
wow i can't wait for the day when i am one. well yeah i can, don't want my kids having kids. but i'll enjoy it when it comes. life's to short just have a blast with them and just know that they are kids, and i doesn't matter who's they are because now there yours, be the best grandma that you can be nothing else matters. kids need good grandparents, grandparents make all the differents in the world. mine are the most important people to me. good luck and take care love helen
