As a digital scrapbooker, I have found that there are only a few things I really need to keep up with the hobby.
- A Computer to put everything together on.
- Digital Pictures and
- A digital camera to take said pictures.
- A bit of free time to spend learning new techniques and putting together my digital albums.
Two times I have put a digital camera on layaway. Both times, before I could get the camera paid off, something happened that kept me from buying it.
The first time, I was pregnant and my mom decided that I really couldn't afford it so she paid off the layaway and told me I could just "borrow hers" when I needed a camera. I wanted the camera to take pictures of the baby, which worked out great... until my mom decided she wanted the camera back.
The second time, I found one on clearance that I liked enough, and it was only $99. The store wouldn't let me put it on layaway because it was a clearance item, and I didn't get paid for another 3 days. So, in a moment of craziness, I put a $200 camera on layaway. Then on payday, I realized that the decision to buy a more expensive camera just because I couldn't layaway the one I wanted was ridiculous... so I cancelled my layaway. And, of course my luck was bad that day and they had already sold all of the clearance cameras.
Who makes the best digital camera? There are a lot of answers to this question, depending on who you ask. I would personally like an HP. The HP cameras are great because they take crystal clear pictures, are fairly inexpensive, and they have products that intermingle, such as cameras and photo printers. I still do a fair amount of paper scrapbooking, so the printer would REALLY come in handy. Also, HP has built in red-eye removal, which is essential with children's photos. It would make my image editing a little easier, that's for sure!

I have a Kodak digi (my second digi, my first was a fugi) I really love this camera, and it goes on clearance more and more! I recommend it, you don't need all that docking station things. I got an extra thingee, uhm dang it, the word disappeared, card with memory to go in it, and I can have like 3-400 pics on it.
But I would be willing to try and take pics of things you would like to elementize(new word i think) and send them to you.
